Though I am in no way a film critic, I feel I have some insight in to plot development, story building and characterization. Having a love of reading and an insentient urge to write and create plays a part in that feeling as does my habit of picking something apart when I see fault. With remakes, sequels, adaptations, and reboots this habit most certainly takes over as I try to compare past to present. I will also admit that I am not nor have I ever been a "super fan" of the Ghostbusters franchise (films, TV series, games, etc.). That said and after viewing the trailer this is what I've come to perceive:
